She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grinnell College. Having been raised in a military family, Erin has had the opportunity to live in various parts of the country, but she takes pride in calling New Orleans her longest-standing home.

Throughout her career, Erin has worked with a variety of populations and in numerous settings, experiences that have allowed her to cultivate the ability to offer timely and appropriate care to her clients. She specializes in helping adults grappling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders. Her areas of expertise also extend to serving LGBTQAI individuals, those diagnosed with severe mental illnesses, and those living with personality disorders.

Erin is committed to a collaborative approach in her psychotherapy practice, recognizing that her clients are experts on their own lives while she provides professional guidance to facilitate change. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness techniques, she works closely with her clients to enhance their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Erin is known for bringing a thoughtful, realistic, and authentic presence to each therapy session.

Alongside her role at CBT NOLA, Erin also serves as a therapist and leader at the University Medical Center New Orleans. Outside of her professional life, she cherishes spending quality time with her three rescue animals – two large dogs and a vocal cat, who may occasionally make guest appearances during virtual sessions. Her personal interests include embracing the outdoors, engaging in home improvement projects, nurturing her collection of tropical plants, and indulging in a good horror movie.
