Arialda Fejzic, Psy.D.

Dr. Arialda Fejzic brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to evidence-based care to her work at CBT NOLA, specializing in individual therapy and comprehensive psychological assessment for adolescents and adults. Her extensive professional experience has fostered a deep understanding of mood disorders, autism, and ADHD. Moreover, Dr. Fejzic has devoted significant study to the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to social anxiety and other mood and anxiety disorders, an area of interest that has resulted in numerous positive outcomes for patients.

Dr. Fejzic earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from William James College in Newton, Massachusetts. Her research focused on the cognitive processing style of defendants in plea decisional competence opinions, a topic that reflects her deep personal interest in systemic equity and justice. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Fejzic earned a master’s degree in psychology from Central Connecticut State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Connecticut.

During her pre-doctoral internship at Southwest Behavioral & Health Services in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Fejzic provided comprehensive behavioral health services in a school and community-based setting, including facilitating family therapy for children and adolescents. She then deepened her expertise in evidence-based neuropsychological and academic assessments during a multifaceted postdoctoral residency at Gentry Pediatric Behavioral Services, also in Phoenix.

Dr. Fejzic became a licensed psychologist in 2022 and has since been a valuable member of the CBT NOLA team. In her current role, she engages in high-quality psychological assessment, applies her broad skillset and deep understanding of CBT to help clients navigate their unique psychological challenges, and contributes to the center’s ongoing innovation and community outreach efforts.
